XYSHIMA currently uses browser storage and authentication technology that is necessary to keep the study application working, remember settings and maintain secure account sessions.
1. What we use
XYSHIMA may use cookies, local storage and similar browser mechanisms for authentication, security, selected theme/language, local study state, account-session continuity and other functionality requested by the user.
2. Essential technologies
Storage that is strictly necessary to provide authentication, security, payments, preferences or requested application functionality may operate without a separate marketing-consent choice where applicable law allows it.
3. Third-party checkout
When a user chooses PayPal checkout, PayPal may use its own cookies or similar technologies on the payment interface. Those technologies are controlled by PayPal and are subject to PayPal's own privacy and cookie information.
4. Analytics and advertising
The current XYSHIMA application does not intentionally load non-essential behavioural advertising pixels or analytics trackers before consent. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced later, XYSHIMA will update this notice and, where required, provide an appropriate consent control before those technologies are activated.
5. Browser controls
You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Removing essential storage may sign you out, reset local preferences or prevent parts of the application from working until the required data is recreated.
